Accomplishments of Shruti Kute
With a double gold in her national debut, Shruti Kute left her mark at the Sub-Junior National aquatic Championships and the following competitions
1. Dy.Patil swimming competition under -12, she obtained 3 golds and 1 Silver 2. District swimming competition under -12, got 4 Golds 3.State level swimming competition under – 12- she got 2 golds 4. ICSE Interschool swimming competition under – 12 she got 2 silvers and I bronze medal 5. At the Navi Mumbai Mayor Cup Swimming Competition – 2011she won First place in 50m Back Stroke, Second in 50m Breast Stroke, First in 50m Free style and the individual Championship Vikram Singh Negi brought home the Gold at the All-India Roller Skating Championship organized by Father Agnel’s. Nihaal Shirur and Yash Nensee skated their way to Silver medals and Dwayne Furtado to a bronze medal at the Navi Mumbai and Thane District Level Roller Skating Championship. Mehek Jain was the first runner-up at the Bombay tennis Competition Twelve students from grades 4-6 won laurels at the State level gymnastics competition. Shruti Kute, Shreeya Sista and Shyam Poduval won gold medals. 8 players got selected for International level. They played in Sweden organised by Gothia Cup and they also played in Demark organised by DANA Cup.

1. Gun for Glory shooting championship Pune – Balewade August 2011 stood 5th Dedared all India ranking 5th in (NR youth category) Qualified to play. All national level competitions. 2. XI Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial shooting championship August – 2011 (National level – competition) – represented Maharashtra state. 3. Zonal Interschool Shooting Championship Held at Veer Savarkar Range Dadar – 25/11/11 One Gold Medal 4. SGFI Nationals Gold and Silver medal – 08/12/2011.

At FEST11 conducted by Nrityanjali, and Interschool competition, Janvi Chawla won 1st Prize in recitation (English) and 1st prize in storytelling and Dhrishti Sachdev won second prize in recitation (Eng.).
AT VIVA 2011 conducted by Vibgyor High, the Avalon team won the Mega Finals of dance competition Dhoom macha Le by presenting a soulful dance encompassing a powerful message on environment.
Avalon made their mark at the prestigious cultural festival ‘Cascade’, organized by Jamnabai Narsee School. At Cascade, our drama troupe won the first place, defeating 14 other schools who had all sent in students much senior to our children. Siddhi Sheshadri proved our supremacy by winning the Best actress Award. At Cascade, Saania Shaikh won the second prize for Elocution.
At the Star Creative Art Competition, 13 of our students brought home awards for Avalon. X and Y have placed first in their groups.

Academic Accomplishments
ICSE performance: 15 students took the ICSE test; 4 students emerged with aggregates of over 90%. 12 out of 15 students had distinctions- above 75%. No student scored below 70%.
Shweta Poduwal and Mayur Sonowal won the report writing competition and were selected for the Times NIE Junior Journo Summer Training. Shweta was a Star Reporter with NIE for that year.
